WHAT:     SAPHC April Happy Hour

WHEN:     18 April, 2024 - Thursday, 6:30PM - 9 PM

Come join us for great phriendship, music and phun as we return to Bracken Store and Ice House.  This will be our Fiesta Day Happy hour so wear your fiesta finery!  We're pleased to have Monnalo playing for us.  You can find out more about him at https://www.monallomusic.com/

 

We'll be collecting items for the Battered Women's Shelter (Family Violence Prevention)They have a list of needed items below. 

 

We will continue the raffle for a Pop Up shade --(Lori Parker won it in March and donated it back to the club to raffle. Thanks Lori!)  Winner will be drawn at our May 23rd Happy Hour. This is a 13x13ft canopy that can provide shade for 10-14 people, really nice.  $5ea or 5 for $20. Additionally we'll have our 50/50 raffle!

This is last chance to register for an event shirt for SURVIVE in Port A on 17/18 May.  We will continue to take late registrations until May 10th. 

 

We will have a Sign In/Membership Table set up to pick up your badges, renew membership, etc.  Please keep your membership up to date. We'd like to get two volunteers for a 6-7 and 7-8 shift to assist with the Table. 

 

We'll continue collecting toiletries for Soldiers Angels.  We'll be taking these at any Happy Hour so start your collection now.  We will also take pop tabs again for Ronald McDonald house.  We give these to our Canyon Lake Parrot Head phriends as their Ronald McDonald charity is now collecting them! 

 

Items needed for the Battered Women's Shelter are:

  • aby Formula, Similac (Not Expired)

  • Any type of hygiene items- shampoo, soap, tooth paste, etc

  • Baby Wipes

  • Pull-Ups ( 2T, 3T, 4T, 5T)

  • Diapers (Size 4,5,6,7)

  • Socks (all sizes, for our babies, children, and mothers)

  • NEW Children’s Pajamas (Sizes 2T to 14)

  • Teen/Men’s Pants (Sizes 28, 32, 34, 36)

  • NEW Ladies Pajamas (Sizes Small to 3X)

  • Bathroom Cleaning Solutions

  • Towels (New only)

  • Bed Sheets All Sizes Needed

  • Kitchen Goods: Pots, Pans, Dishes, Cups/Mugs, Silverware, Paper Plates and Cups, and Plastic Spoons/Forks

  • PLEASE NOTE:  They are not taking gently used items at this time!

  

For planning purposes we will collect box fans for Project Cool at the May Happy Hour!
